Weekend CAL - Ear Warmers

Updated: Apr 29

Welcome to the first Weekend CAL! Small projects that can be done in one weekend. We all have some yarn, 1 skein or scraps, that we haven't decided what to do with so why not make some small projects as gifts or to donate.

I thought we would start with an ear warmer pattern, but then ended up making 2 ear warmers with different stitch patterns lol. They both use the fpdc to create the squishy texture.

They got a bit wider than I'd planned, so if you want the ear warmer to be closer to 4" wide, start with fewer stitches on Row 1. I'm donating the ear warmers so after the first one I just made the 2nd one the same size.

Either pattern can be made with a twist or just sewn together for a regular ear warmer. They are both worked in short rows so they are easily adjusted to any length.

Today (Friday) I have added the materials list so you can get ready to crochet first thing tomorrow! Tomorrow (Saturday) I will post the first pattern, and on Sunday I will post the last pattern.

If you would like the patterns right now, they can be purchased on Ravelry for $2.

Would you like a chance to win a crochet pattern? Look for this post Tomorrow (Saturday) in my FB Group.
