• Red Heart Comfort (100% Acrylic, 867 yards / 792 meters, 16 ounces / 454 grams) 2 colors:

• Other Yarn Options: Red Heart Super Saver, Red Heart with Love, Bernat Premium, Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn, Caron Simply Soft, Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran, Stylecraft Special Aran.

HOOKS & SUPPLIES

• Hook US H8 / 5.00 mm

• Scissors

• Yarn Needle

• Measuring Tape

• Stitch Marker (Optional)

SIZES

• One size: 58” x 7”

NOTES

• * * - Repeat instructions between the asterisks as many times as instructed.

• Turn at the end of each row.

• Ch sps do not count as sts.

• The altch2 is the first dc in the row.

• The ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a st.

INSTRUCTIONS

COLOR A

Row 1: fsc 203 (or any multiple of 4 + 3)

Optional Row 1: ch 204 (or any multiple of 4), sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and each ch across. (203 sts)

Row 2: altch2, dc in the next st, skip 1 st, 2 dc in each of the next 2 sts, * skip 2 sts, 2 dc in each of the next 2 sts * across until 2 sts remain, skip 1 st, dc in the last st.

Row 3: ch 1, sc in the first st and each st across.

COLOR B

Row 4: ch 1, sc in the first st, * (sc, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next st, skip 3 sts * across until 2 sts remain, sc in the last 2 sts.

Row 5: altch2, * ch 3, skip 4 sts, sc in the next ch sp * across, dc in the last st.

COLOR A

Row 6: altch2, dc in the next st, 4 dc in the next ch sp, * skip 1 st, 4 dc in the next ch sp * across, dc in the last st.

Row 7: ch 1, sc in the first st and each st across.

Repeat Rows 4 - 7 until desired width.

Fasten off, weave ends or add fringe if desired.
