Do you crochet shawls/wraps? Lately I was getting bored with the usually triangle or rectangle shape so thought I would try something a little different.

I have done scarves this way, but never a shawl. It was fun trying to decide on a stitch pattern that would work with this shape.

Paintbox Yarns Simply DK (100% Acrylic, 302 yards / 276 meters, 3.5 ounces / 100 grams) 3 skeins

I really like the Paintbox Yarns. However probably won't be buying any more. They are now shipping out of the UK to Canada, higher shipping costs, & I get extra duties at the post office. Doesn't make it affordable to purchase. It's too bad, it's really nice yarn.

The pattern can be crocheted in any dk weight yarn. I think it would look very pretty in some self striping yarn.
