Red Heart Comfort (100% Acrylic, 867 yards / 792 meters, 16 ounces / 454 grams) 2 colors:

Scissors

EXPERIENCE LEVEL

NOTES

* * - Repeat instructions between the asterisks as many times as instructed.
Turn at the end of each row.
Fasten off at the end of each row.
Ch 1 sps do not count as sts.
The ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a st.

INSTRUCTIONS

COLOR A

Row 1: fsc 221 (or any multiple of 4 + 1)

Optional Row 1: ch 222 (or any multiple of 4 + 2), sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and each ch across. (221 sts)

Row 2: ch 1, sc in the first st, * skip 1 st, 3 dc in the next st, skip 1 st, sc in the next st * across.

COLOR B

Row 3: (altch2, dc) in the first st, skip 1 st, sc in the next st, skip 1 st, * (dc, ch 1, dc) in the next st, skip 1 st, sc in the next st, skip 1 st * across, 2 dc in the last st.

COLOR A

Row 4: ch 1, sc in the first st, skip 1 st, 3 dc in the next st, skip 1 st, * sc in the next ch sp, skip 1 st, 3 dc in the next st, skip 1 st * across, sc in the last st.

COLOR B

Row 5: (altch2, dc) in the first st, skip 1 st, sc in the next st, skip 1 st, * (tr, ch 1, tr) in the ch sp 2 rows below, skip 1 st, sc in the next st, skip 1 st * across, 2 dc in the last st.

NOTE: You will be placing the (tr, ch 1, tr) over the sc from the previous row.

COLOR A

Row 6: ch 1, sc in the first st, skip 1 st, 3 dc in the next st, skip 1 st, * sc in the next ch sp, skip 1 st, 3 dc in the next st, skip 1 st * across, sc in the last st.

Repeat Rows 5 & 6 until desired width.

COLOR A

Last row: ch 1, sc in the first st and each st across.

Fasten off, weave ends.
