Do you like to crochet sets? I do! Every time I start a new beanie pattern I'm thinking how the stitches would work for a scarf or cowl. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
This set was a lot of fun. I love using fpdc on beanies, it makes them more stretchy and fit more heads. Since I donate all the hats I make, this can be important! You don't know who will be receiving the hat. Winters in Canada are very cold, so who couldn't use a matching cowl?!

I really like this yarn! It's labelled as a #5 weight, but it's a light #5. I have noticed with other yarn purchases from Hobbii that their yarn is usually on the thinner side.
