Dish Towel & Cloth Crochet Patterns

Updated: Mar 16

Everyone loves a handmade gift that is useful :)

Last winter I managed to get to a Hobby Lobby (we don't have them in Canada) and purchase some yarn. Heard good things about I Love This Cotton so decided to give it a try.

It's quite nice! It's pretty soft, easy to work with and no splitting. It's softer than Lily's cotton, but maybe not as soft as Knit Picks cotton. If there was a Hobby Lobby near me I would buy it again for other cotton projects. They do have a lot of colors to choose from!

I Love This Cotton (100% Cotton, 180 yards / 165 meters, 3.5 ounces / 100 grams) Color A (Ivory) 2 skeins, Color B (Deep Teal) 1.5 oz, Color C (Gold) 1.5 oz

The pattern has great texture. You could make them in a solid color, or add more stripes. Even self striping yarn would work great.

What is your favorite cotton for projects? I'm always looking for new yarns to try :) What colors would you make this set?
