CAL Colors & Textures Blanket

Do you love CALS (crochet a longs)? I haven't done one in a while and thought this blanket would be a good CAL.

About The Pattern

I purchased the yarn quite a while ago. At the time I wasn't sure what I was going to crochet with the yarn. Some of the colors weren't as nice as they looked online. The yarn felt nice in the skein so all I had to do was figure out what to make with it.

Hat? Scarves? Blanket? What about a blanket that is sort of 7 scarves sewn together? That might work!

I get bored easily so something that changes stitches and patterns quite often is the perfect project for me.

Once I figured out what to do with the yarn it was time to research what types of patterns/stitches I wanted to do. Cables, fptr, maybe bobbles or popcorn stitches? I wasn't a fan of popcorn stitches but they do add a lot of texture. After doing this blanket I love the popcorn stitch! Don't even mind making it though it does use a bit more yarn.
