Aran Baby Blanket

When I started designing crochet patterns I never thought I would create blankets. They take too long to make! Well, after the first few, I'm addicted to blankets.

Baby blankets can be so much fun, and don't take as long as an adult blanket.

For this blanket I used some Stylecraft Special Aran I happened to have on hand.

(100% Acrylic, 214 yards / 196 meters, 100 grams) 6 skeins

This is one of my favorite aran weight yarns. It's really soft & easy to work with. You can find it on LoveCrafts & WoolWarehouse. I have ordered from both places with great success.

The pattern is a little bit lacy, with an easy row repeat. A fun border though a bit challenging. The pattern is labelled as Advanced Beginner.

You can find the pattern for 60% off on Etsy & Ravelry in December!

I was like you, I didn't think I would make many blankets but I make quite a few throughout each year now.
