A REAL CAL

All The Scraps Blanket CAL.

Follow along as I design a scrap stitch sampler blanket.

Create a blanket CAL in "real time".

HOW IT WILL WORK:

1 - Gather all of your scrap yarn that is the same weight. I am using a few different brands that are all the same thickness. Not every worsted weight yarn or even color is the same. If the yarns are very close, it will work with this pattern.

2 - The blanket will be created in long rows, I will be fastening off each color leaving a tail for fringe. (don’t like weaving in ends). It you want to do it in short rows, you will have to add more repeats of sections at the end to make your blanket long enough.

3 - Everyone will follow me as I create the blanket. If you notice a mistake in my writing of a row, please let me know!

4 - Every few days I will add a new section here. It will have written instructions and sometimes a stitch diagram as well.

5 - At the end of the pattern, everyone who finished the blanket will get the pdf added to their Ravelry Library.

There is a FB event for this blanket pattern. After starting the event I realized I probably should have done it in a "group" instead. Oh well, maybe next time :)
