Optional Yarn: Any worsted weight (#4) yarn.

Ch sps do not count as sts.
Ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a st.
INSTRUCTIONS
Row 1: fsc 27 (or any multiple of 3)
Optional Row 1: ch 28 (or any multiple of 3 + 1), sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and each ch across. (27 sts)
Row 2: ch 1, sc in the first 2 sts, * ch 2, skip 2 sts, sc in the next st * across, sc in the last st.
Row 3: altch2, dc in the next st, 2 dc in the next ch sp, * fpdc around the next st (sc from previous row), 2 dc in the next ch sp * across, dc in the last 2 sts.
Row 4: ch 1, sc in the first 2 sts, * ch 2, skip 2 sts, sc in the next st * across, sc in the last st.
Repeat rows 3 & 4 until desired length.
Last Row: ch 1, sc in the first 2 sts, 2 sc in the next ch sp, * sc in the next st, 2 sc in the next ch sp * across, sc in the last 2 sts.
Fasten off and weave ends.
