Any brand/weight yarn you would like. Your width will change depending on the yarn you use.
For this pattern I used 2 strands of dk weight.

* * - Repeat instructions between the asterisks as many times as instructed.
Turn at the end of each row.
The ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a st.
You can use 2 strands together, or 1 strand of any weight yarn realizing that the width will change.
Use 1 color or as many colors as you like, changing color on any row.
INSTRUCTIONS
Row 1: fsc 25, or any multiple of 6 + 1. (25 sts)
Optional Row 1: chain 26 (or any multiple of 6 + 2), sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and each ch across. (25 sts)
Row 2: altch2, dc in the next st, skip 1 st, V-ST in the next st, skip 1 st, * dc in the next 3 sts, skip 1 st, V-ST in the next st, skip 1 st * across, dc in the last 2 sts.
Row 3: altch2, dc in the next st, skip 1 st, Cluster in the next ch sp, * skip 2 sts, V-ST in the next st, skip 2 sts, Cluster in the next ch sp * across, skip 1 st, dc in the last 2 sts.
Row 4: altch2, dc in the next st, skip 1 st, V-ST in the next st, * skip 2 sts, Cluster in the next ch sp, skip 2 sts, V-ST in the next st * across, skip 1 st, dc in the last 2 sts.
Repeat Rows 3 & 4 until desired length.
Last Row: ch 1, sc in the first 3 sts, sc in the next ch sp, * sc in the next 5 sts, sc in the next ch sp * across, sc in the last 3 sts.
Fasten off, weave ends.
