Wow! The year is almost over and time to think of new patterns & sales for the next year.
Crochet patterns are expensive I know. Everyone needs to be aware of how much they spend on patterns to stay in the budget. However, designers can't always give away every pattern, unless they have ads on their blogs. I don't like ads, have an ad blocker on my computer so I don't have to see them. Because of that I have decided not to have ads on my own blog..... would be a bit hypocritical I think lol
Do you know how long it takes to make a pattern? Neither did I until I started designing. Between working on the pattern, then making the item/items, getting the pattern tested, publishing and promoting.... I figure it's about 10 - 200 hours depending if it's a small project or a large blanket.
People have complained to me that a blanket pattern is $6, a hat pattern is $5, but if you think that a blanket takes 200 hours start to finish and I'm only asking for $6.... that is $0.03 per hour. Plus the yarn is $40 - $60 for a blanket. Good thing I'm not trying to make a living with patterns! lol
But to help everyone out, I have decided that in 2025 ALL of my patterns and bundles will always be 25% off on Ravelry & Etsy. Yes, ALL patterns on sale ALL YEAR! No coupon code needed. If for some reason a discount is not showing on a new pattern I probably forgot to add the pattern to the sale. Just send me an email or message on fb as a reminder :)
The 25% off will not apply to patterns that can be seen for FREE on my website.
All patterns published in 2025 will be 40% off for a few days only, after the publishing date. Links and reminders will be posted in the CMD FB group, business page and IG. Unfortunately FB doesn't always let people see all my posts so if you can, follow all my links. Sorry.... FB doesn't always play nice!
Another way to get notification is to sign up for my emails. You can do that on the home page here on the website. Hopefully I also remember to make blog posts for each new pattern published, but no guarantee there lol.
