This was so much fun to design and create. It doesn't look anything like I had planned though lol. I had it about 1/3 done when a friend contacted me about donating some blanket to Veterans for Christmas. I had 3 finished, but told her I would get this one done before our holiday as well and in the mail to her. So.... changed the pattern a bit so it was slightly faster to create and crocheted like a mad woman for a few days. Got it done and in the mail 3 days before we left!
