Last week we decided to drive to Freeport and then take the coast road all the way to Galveston. We did not pick the right day lol. When we got to Freeport it was so foggy we could hardly see the road! We stopped at a Buc-ee's for about 1/2 an hour to wait for the fog to lift a bit. We did get to see a bit of the Gulf.....sort of lol.
The coast road was interesting but it would have been prettier if we could have seen the coast.
There were these pretty houses that are a museum. Unfortunately they are only open a few hours each weekend.
On the way back we went to a Wild Life Refuge and did manage to see some little alligators :) Aren't they cute?!
