Blooming Hayfield Shawl

It's February. Every February designer friends & I do a Pattern Hop/Sale for Cancer Awareness. Since I love to make shawls & there is a hospice that will gladly take the ones I donate I knew I would create a shawl for this hop.

This is the first time I used the Hayfield Bonus DK yarn. It's quite nice. Not as soft as some dk yarns I've used in the past, but not rough either. It's easy to work with, doesn't split, unravels well & comes in really pretty colors.

I purchased it at LoveCrafts. The price is right if you want to make something to donate to a charity. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!

Blooming Hayfield Shawl. This is a very pretty shawl that is a bit lacy. Quick and easy pattern repeat. Can easily be adjusted to any width/length. Use solid colored yarn or even self striping.

Here are some of the photo's my testers took of their finished shawls.

The middle shawl was tested by Tara. This is what she says about the test/shawl:

I loved testing this pretty shawl! The pattern repeats are easy to memorize and follow, and working with a dk weight yarn means it’s warm but light and easy to wear. I like to pair it with a long sleeved shirt and pants for an elegant pop, but it would also make a stunning evening shawl for fancy occasions.

You can find the pattern link & coupon code for 50% off on the Crochet Designer Community FB page:

The coupon code will work until March 3, 2024.
